The majority of films are created commercially - that is to say, to make money. Hollywood films are often budgeted millions of dollars in order to create feature films that impress an audience, which often brings in millions more in profit. Although the primary source of income for most films is the box office, many films also have sponsorship deals with companies, in which product placement often plays a large role. James Bond, for example, is sponsored by Sony - Bond uses almost exclusively Sony technology.
